The American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai (AmCham Shanghai) is a non-partisan, non-profit business organization established in 1915. It is the third overseas American chamber to operate worldwide, established only three years after the founding of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. AmCham Shanghai was resurrected in 1987, and is the largest AmCham in the Asia Pacific Region.

The mission of the Swedish Chamber of Commerce in China is to serve its members. This means the focus is on providing a network among members, strengthening contacts with the Chinese government for members, and organizing regular events such as breakfast meetings, seminars and social functions.
SwissCham operates with two national organizations and five regional chapters in Beijing, Shanghai, Zurich, Geneva and Lugano. Since its inception, SwissCham has contributed to the development of the Swiss-Sino economic relations and continuously assisted the many Swiss companies doing business with China and vice versa.
