Purchasing the Right One

All artificial grass isn’t the same so pick one that suits your taste and purpose. Advancements in technology have made it possible for manufacturers to produce synthetic grass that looks like real grass, but you’ll still have to choose wisely so that you get natural looking cover inside your house.

There are a lot of green shades to choose from- olive green, lime green, darker greens, etc. Most manufacturers produce artificial turf in a mix of different shades so that the turf doesn’t look artificial. Don’t pick a turf that is perfectly green; it won’t look natural.

You’ll also need to consider the pile height. A pile height of 30mm to 37mm is perfect for indoor use. Don’t make the mistake of going for a longer pile height just because you want lush looking grass. A longer pile height means the grass blades will be heavier and gravity will pull them down easily. This will create a flat look instead.

A density of about 3kg per square meter is also a desirable characteristic if you want your turf to last long.
