Plain chicken is one of the most popular dishes in Cantonese cuisine, and it’s also quite easy to cook. The chicken is simply cleaned, boiled, basted with peanut oil, and served with ginger, spring onions and salt. Cooking it in this way preserves the fundamental flavor of the chicken. Panxi Restaurant was awarded the Gold Medal Award from the National Ministry of Commerce for its plain chicken.
