I have been to 3 different sites at the Great Wall, and Mutianyu is the best one by far!! With cable cars and all, but without the crowds, you almost can have the Wall just to you... wonderful experience. Oh, and as an extra bonus, there is this really good restaurant (western food, standard and bathrooms!) called The Schoolhouse, check it at www.theschoolhouseatmutianyu.com, really good...give it a try!
