A series of 4 seminars on Intellectual Property Rights in China

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China’s Pearl River Delta Chapter is pleased to invite you to a series of 4 seminars on Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) being held in early 2008.

The seminars, held in collaboration with Rouse & Co. International, aims to provide you with the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of IPR issues in China and an understanding of how you can limit the risks your company may face with IPR violations.

The seminars will respectively cover:

* Introduction to IPR in China
* IPR Enforcement in China
* Management of IPR Within your organization
* Dealing with Trade in Infringing Goods.

The IPR seminar series will launch the European Chamber’s Pearl River Delta Chapter’s first IPR Working Group, which will meet regularly to provide a platform for European Chamber members to discuss their experiences and to collectively voice their concerns and provide recommendations to senior Chinese and European authorities.

Seminar 2: IPR enforcement in China

The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China’s Pearl River Delta Chapter is pleased to invite you to the breakfast seminar on IPR enforcement in China on Wednesday 30th January in Guangzhou .

This seminar will look in more detail at issues of enforcement of IPR in China, dealing with Administrative authorities and Customs, and the Civil and Criminal judicial systems. The talk will give case examples and statistics and discuss practical issues of management of investigations and relations with authorities.
